What was your day like, what was your day like

I woke up when the sunlight came into my room,

The right kind of weather just for us to take the afternoon

And get lost together, nothing better

I had an orange and coffee a little past nine

And this morning I knew everything about the day was fun

I did just what I wanted to, how about you 

What was your day like, found myself a new kind of looking glass 
What was your day like, I ran into a friend of the past 
I though about the things we done the two of us  
I could see it so clear as I stood there waiting for the bus 
I was wishing you were here, but you’re not here  

I saw (??) in the village I just looked around 
Then I went to try on something new  
What a good thing I found, I like this town
