Fifteen Keys - Uncle Tupelo

Notes:

1. This is my own interpretation, could not find chords for this song
anywhere on line, so I worked it out on my own. I'm also a beginner, so
there may be more advanced chords that can be used. Suggestions welcome!

2. I play a Cadd9 on this, but C would work also. For a slightly different
sound, Cmaj7 works also.

3. This is my second posting of this song, I neglected to add the Instrumental
break after verse 2 in the original.

Cadd9 G Em
Watch it separate in two
Cadd9 G Em
Whatever the day wants it to
Cadd9 G Em
Finding out that the worst is true
Cadd9 G Em
Finding out that it can escape you

Chorus:
Em Cadd9 D
Slings and arrows completes the score
       G D
Always leaving, wanting more
      Am Cadd9 G Em
And I try to throw it away

Cadd9 G Em
Silver spikes and mace displayed in your eyes
Cadd9 G Em
Fearlessness, cannot fathom What's on your mind
Cadd9
Been there, no luck at all
                G D
Nothing left to lose
Cadd9 Em
Been there, no luck at all
                G D
Nothing left to lose
          Am
I've been there

Cadd9 D G D Am Cadd9 G D Am Cadd9 G Em

Cadd9 G Em
"Danger/Slow" says the sign ahead
Cadd9 G Em
Exhaust fumes, Thin Lizzy instead
Cadd9 G Em
Left all pressing cares along the road
Cadd9 G Em
Fifteen keys, but where do they go?

Chorus:
Em Cadd9 D
Slings and arrows completes the score
       G D
Always leaving, wanting more
      Am Cadd9 G Em
And I try to throw it away

Cadd9 G
Strings that pull, strings that bend
     Em Am
This song and dance never ends

D G D Am Cadd9
