Cherry Blossom

Intro
F Am x2

[Verso 1]

F Am
In a garden stood a cherry tree
F Am
  With blossoms dizzy white
F Am
And a bleak wind wiped away all petals
                   F
Whirling, dancing, falling
                            Am
And it felt like a freezing tide

Interlude
Am G x4

[Verso 2]

F Am
With stiff fingers paralyzed by coldness
                     F
I tried to touch the ground
                        Am
But I couldn't trust my eyes
F Am
From behind the trunk all dressed in black
                        F
A girl came through the snow
               Am
And I was hypnotized
F
  I was mesmerized
    Am F
Her mouth, her lips, her sea black eyes
                        Am
And her cheeks were all aglow

Am G
   Under the cherry tree
Am G
   The petals fall like snow
Am G
   Under a chrry tree
Am G
   With the cherry blossom girl

[Verso 3]

F Am
Then in hr tiny voice she spoke to me
F Am
Her eyes were looking to the ground
F
And as she spoke to me
      Am F
There was a silver haze from her mouth
                           Am
That suddenly quenched all sound:
F Am
«I never wanted to be sad
F Am
This is the life I always had
F Am
I never wanted oh this garden to be found
      F Am
But I know that this time will linger on»

[Verso 4]

F Am
We never wanted to be sad
F Am
This is the life we always had
F
  Under this cherry tree
   Am
We both were pointing to the moon
    F Am
And sighed: «This is the final tide»
