Intro

| G | Em | Cmaj7 | Cm |
| G | Em | Cmaj7 | Cm N.C.|

[Verso 1]

     G
Does anybody else
             E7/G#
Feel like it take forever
To get to december
Am
Throw out the turkey
I just want some cocoa
    Cm N.C.
And jingle bells

[Verso 2]

      G
Well, here's the thing
                 E7
I can't make the days or the weeks
                      Am
Go by any faster, but I believe
     Cm
That Santa's been busy
Making some magic

    Cmaj7
For you and me
       Bm7
But if we could all be patient
         Am7
We would see
              Cm
Oh yes, we'll see

[Refrão]

G Em C
It's hard to wait for Christmas
        D G
All the joy there is to share
             Em C
Like cookies baking in the oven
             D Em
The sweetest smell that fills the air
               D/F# G
Let's hold our hope and shine our light
            Cmaj7 Em
Before it's Christmas eve
             D/F# G
We know this seasons so much more
              Cmaj7
Than presents and a tree,
    Cm
But honestly
N.C. G Em Cmaj7
It's hard to wait for Christmas
Cm G Em Cmaj7 Cm
It's hard to wait for Christmas

[Verso 3]

G
Have you ever thought
              E7/G#
About how the wisemen travelled
For so long on camels
   Am
To Bethlehem
Cm
Would that be like
We're on a road trip

   Cmaj7
To Disneyland
     Cmaj7 Bm7
Oh I bet that was on long camel ride
        Bm7 Bbm7 Am7
Their GPS a bright new star in the sky
      Am7 Cm
And I bet they got impatient sometimes
               Cm N.C.
(And I Think I kinda understand why)

[Refrão]

Before it's Christmas eve
             D/F# G
We know this seasons so much more
              Cmaj7
Than presents and a tree,
    Cm
But honestly
                      G G F# F E Am7 Cm
It's hard to wait for Christmas

Em D/F# G
Let's share our hope and shine our light
            Cmaj7 Em
Before it's Christmas eve
           D/F# G
Cuz if I'm honest it feels nice
             Cmaj7
To give more than receive,
    Cm
But honesty
         Cm Cm
Even for grownups like me (one, two ,three)
