D G

[Verso 1]

G Am7 D G
If I leave this world tomorrow, don't you grieve too long for me
G Em C D
I've been stumbling through the darkness, chasing what I couldn't see
D C D G
The weight of all my choices, the battles I fought alone
G Em Am7 D
But deep down in my spirit, I hear You calling me home

[Refrão]

G Am7 D Em
Thy will be done, Lord, I'm laying down my fight
Em Am7 D G
I've carried these old burdens, through too many lonely nights
G C D G
No more running from the mirror, no more hiding from the truth
G C Am7 D G
Thy will be done, I'm trusting all of this to You

[Verso 2]

G Am7 D G
I've made peace with my failures, and the roads that led me wrong
G Em C D
The nights I chased the bottle, the mornings I felt so gone
D C D G
Ain't no sermon ever saved me, like the whisper in my soul
G Em Am7 D
Saying grace is waiting patient, for a man who's lost control

[Refrão]

G Am7 D Em
Thy will be done, Lord, I'm laying down my pride
Em Am7 D G
I've wrestled with my demons, now I'm ready for the ride
G C D G
If there's light beyond this valley, past the hurt and all the scars
G C Am7 D G
Then take me where You're leading, underneath those healing stars

[Ponte]

D C D G
Don't wear black and mourn me, just play a simple song
G Em Am7 D
Tell the story of a cowboy, who finally came along
D C D G
To the place where broken pieces, find their way back whole again
G Em Am7 D
Where the lost souls find their Father, and the wandering find an end

[Verso 3]

G Am7 D G
So, if tomorrow ain't promised, and tonight's my final stand
G Em C D
I'll close my eyes in silence, with Your mercy in my hand
D C D G
Maybe You've got something greater, than this weary heart could dream
G Em Am7 D
A bigger plan unfolding, in the great and grand unseen

Tell the story of a cowboy, who finally came along

G Em Am7 D
Where the lost souls find their Father, and the wandering find an end

Thy will be done...
