Intro:
E D A

[Verso 1]

       E D A E D A
It's a cowboy, coloured, crazy, kind of, get on out and chase a rainbow day.
       E D A E D A
It's a high and rising, tantalizing sun with time to waste and that's ok.
       A E A
It's a turning, burning, misty morning, slow and easy, got much to say.
       E D A E D A
All dressed up in my cowboy dreams a wind that seems to keep the blues away.

[Verso 2]

       E D A E D A
Such a boots and saddle, lazy cattle calling down the road of my hotel(?).
        E D A E D A
And the greener grass and sassafras assailing all my senses don't it show.
        A E A
Took a fancy to the chance that just in passing I could feel flowers grow
        E D A E D A
He'd be overhanging trees, throwing shadows to the breeze that softly blows.

Turn the other cheek, have to speak a word and I ain't heard a sound that's like a running stream.

Oh lord, but don't it seem a long hard climb?
