I play an Fmaj9 because it suits the melody better but I think on the record  
with the full band they just play an F major chord. An easy way to think of  
an Fmaj9 and a nice way to play it is like you're playing the chord as a C/F 
If that doesn't work for you then an F chord can get the job done.
