This looks confusing so I'll try and explain what I was trying to do - The first 2 lines of  
each verse occupy 3 bars per line with the A chord played for 1 and a half bars. After those  
first 2 lines the remainder is a bar each. This happens every time it comes to a new verse. 

These chords sound most appropriate when played as barre chords
