[Verso 1]

       G5 B5
When I die, lay me on the west coast
       E5 C5
Put me in my best clothes, call my friends I kept close
       G5 B5
When I die, please put on the best show
            E5 C5
Please call everyone who hate it and say they can let go
       G5 B5
When I die, I want you to tell them that they'll be fine
  E5 C5
I wasn't all that good anyway, so don't you cry
       G5 B5
We had a good run, it wasn't the best though
E5 C5
So when I die, lay me on the west coast

G5 B5 E5 C5
When I die just lay me on the west
G5 B5 E5 C5
My friends don't even know I'm here

[Verso 2]

G5 B5
They say that everything is bigger out in Tex
           E5 C5
But if you really wanna hit it big, you must keep heading west
G5 B5
And if you make it, put some chains up on your neck
              E5 C5
'Cause if you don't, then you'll be burying out back with the rest
G5 B5
This the eulogy of everyone who blew up
    E5 C5
The boys from the east who tried to bring their whole crew up
G5 B5
The lil' rappers with the USBs done grew up
   E5 C5
If you ain't betting on them, then you screwed up
              G5 B5
Living like a sundog, treating them like they scumbags
                         E5 C5
Trying to think of every single way to get your crumbs back
                 G5 B5
Ain't even got a mattress, how you dreamin' of a comeback?
                E5 C5
Movin' like I'm Atlas, the world's on my shoulders, can't fall back
G5 B5
Livin' like a dog, treat 'em like a dumbass
E5 C5
Take 'em for a walk, tryna get your fuzz back
G5 B5
And when you livin' on the side of the road
      E5 C5
Just think of all the boys back home and let 'em know
