[Verso 1]

D G
The sun came up this morning
A G A
Looking the same as it always has
    D G A
The birds began to sing their same old songs
  D G
I noticed the dew on the leaves of grass
    A D
The blossoms on the branch of the trees
    G
And then I remembered
    D A
God made all of this just for me
